DESCRIPTION
The SMX Composite Video Matrix Switcher Boards are designed for routing composite video signals. They are available in three I/O sizes: 8x4, 8x8, and 16x16.
Features
* 150 MHz (-3dB) video bandwidth, fully loaded — Ensures switching and distribution of video signals without degradation. SMX Composite Video Matrix Switcher Boards provide a minimum of 150 MHz (-3dB) of video bandwidth at full performance capability when one input drives all outputs.
* NTSC, PAL, and SECAM compatible — Capable of switching NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, PAL, and SECAM video for worldwide compatibility.
* Video Input Signal Detection — Verifies active sources by polling all inputs for valid signals. Information is transmitted to the user through the Ethernet and serial ports on the SMX frame.
* Genlock/Vertical interval switching — Input 1 can be used as a genlock sync reference for seamless transitions when switching between synchronous video sources.
Note: When installing this board in an existing SMX Frame, new SMX Frame firmware may be required; contact your Extron technical services representative for more information.
